My goals are not only to play football in college but also excel in academics. I plan to study some form of engineering and entrepreneurship

The reason I am a good candidate for your program is that I value teamwork, focus, and effort. Growing up in a family of coaches I have always been taught that your team is more important than individuals. I always try to honor these values and i was proud to be voted a team captain by my teammates as a sophomore.

I am different in character because nothing has ever come easy to me and I have always been challenged through adversity.  At a young age my mother passed away from cancer, she was given months to live but wouldn't accept that. Instead she lived 6 productive years and I always try to use her as an example of courage and toughness to face challenges.

I am different in athletics in that I don't only play football, I am also a wrestler. I don't want to be known as a prima donna quarterback. I love hard work and am willing to get in the trenches to fight for every inch. My favorite thing about wrestling is how much effort and dedication you have to put in to get minimal results.

I am different in academics because I enjoy the challenges of the classroom but the best part is being able to take my knowledge into the real world and use it in engineering, nature, and business.
