I am a 6’1 offensive and defensive lineman from West Palm Beach, Florida. My freshman year I made the varsity team and worked my way up to a starting spot. I played center and the defensive line my freshman and sophomore year. My freshman year I was an Iron Buc which is a select group of players from my team who showed a hard work ethic and met every requirement including attendance and performance. My sophomore year I earned the coaches award and the Iron Buc MVP. My junior year I played offensive guard and defensive line and was named All-Conference and awarded with an All-County Honorable Mention. Since I am one of the biggest guys on the team I am always on the line. I also played on my school's varsity lacrosse team as a freshman and sophomore year. The team has been one of the best teams in the country for multiple years and also made it to states my sophomore year. Now I am also on the track and field team and hold the longest throws out of everyone on the team for both shot put and discus. For the past four years I have trained non stop and lifted every day of the week during my off season. I have been currently working out at a gym with professional athletes called Cressey Sports Performance and also at my school/team gym.
I have been playing football since I was five years old. Since then I have learned that playing football isn’t something that is given to you but it something that must be earned. I always strive to be the hardest working individual with the most heart while still being selfless and leading others. Since I first started playing it has been my dream to play college football and it is a dream that I will work as hard as it takes to achieve.
I am currently on the honor roll at one of the most prestigious and academically challenging schools in the state. I always work as hard as possible to keep my grades up so I do not need to worry about academics affecting the opportunity to play football. I am an ambassador for my school as well as being apart of an engineering club that placed first in the nation at the National 2016 STEM League Finals competition. I also volunteer 2 or more days a month at a no kill animal shelter called furry friends.
I want to attend a college where I can work hard and improve myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all colleges and I just want to be able to find one that is right for me. I know I have tenacity, ambition, and courage to succeed at the next level, on, and off the field. I look forward to accepting the challenge of performing at the next level and working as hard as possible to make an impact on any team and campus.
