Amarrie Harris '21 Recruiting Profile

     The sport of football, for me, is pure love. I love the sport,not for the obvious reason..HITTING but because of the opportunities it gives the players to put their leadership on display. Through football I have the ability to lead a complete side of the ball, the best side DEFENSE.  Not only being extremely vocal, but most importantly leading by example. 

     I am not a just a football player who plays with emotion. I have certain tangibles that make me a tremendous star on the field. My teammates, in every sport I compete with understand my dedication. When I decide to take on a task I will get it done, hands down. It has been this way since my pop warner days. I do the things I do because I have one objective, FINISH. 

     Academics have never been a problem for me, simply because football isn't forever,education is path. I have a 3.8 GPA and an outstanding track record and that is not by mistake. I would say, I approach the classroom more seriously then I approach the field. I know my education is the foundation of my future, and I put these values at the top of my list. 

     I am not just a football player, I am a coach. I am a leader by example. A leader with my words. I am dedicated. I am fearless. I am the player who is humble and who is willing to do anything for a team worth taking a shot on me.
