Finishing my first ever 6 games on 'JV' and then moving up to 'Varsity' was when I notice I can become a great athlete. Knowing the 'Varsity' team wanted me to play for them was great. However I feel that I became more of a student-athlete after the season had ended. I put my mindset to getting good grades and to becoming a better player at my position. I have always loved football, but never really wanted to play for a team. Going into high school I wanted to play, so I started to do summer workouts with them, and I liked it and I joined the team. I've learned some thing about myself while playing football. I've learned about commitment, teamwork, sacrifice, and how to become a leader. I would like to go to a college that fits me academically and athletically. I don't only believe that I have talent to play but I have the work ethic and leadership skill to be a college athlete. I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
