Personal Statement
Being a part of a Military family, we moved around a lot. Football was my constant, and I always looked forward to being welcomed onto a new team and connecting with new team mates. Football offered me friends and stability. It also exposed me to many talented athletes and strong competition. This instilled my desire to continually get better and to make sure I was ready to earn my spot on any team I was on.
Once my dad retired and we stopped moving, I was fortunate enough to be a part of the stellar football program at Bloomingdale High School where development and achievement are the goals. The mindset to get better each day is the standard. This validated the sacrifices and dedication necessary to be a top athlete. There is always someone better than you out there and my goal is to be that "better one." I am looking for a competitive college football program with the same mindset. I know my leadership skills, work-ethic, and dedication to get better each day and earn my spot will help me impact any program. Some say that winning isn't everything; it is the journey that is important, not the destination. Consequently, I believe my journey to be "THE better one" will result in the destination of winning in football and all aspects of life.
