Matthew Prigmore '23 Recruiting Profile

I am proud to say that I have been involved in team sports since I could walk. I excelled in Ice Hockey, Baseball, Wrestling, and my current sport (Football). I was raised in Weston, Florida and have always maintained a reputation of hard work and dedication. Often, I have been nominated for leadership roles on teams, and I value character.  I am a 3-year Varsity starter and a team captain. I am considered a top lineman prospect by many sources and was selected to the Broward County Schools All-Star Game this December. Not only do I excel in sports, but also in the classroom as well. I manage AICE classes, in addition to my team sports. I have maintained a 4.7 GPA (Weighted) along with a 1210 SAT score. In addition to sports, I also serve as a member of the Key Club Civic group, and I am a member of the National Honor Society.  When needed, I've volunteered to help teammates with tutoring assistance and peer support.  Our team finished the regular season at 6-4 and made our first playoff appearance in 10 years. 

I love everything about this sport, and it would be a dream to be able to continue playing.  The lessons learned from playing football are instrumental on and off the field and last a lifetime.  I believe that I would complement any program that would have me.
