I am a 6’5”, 200 lb quarterback from Atlanta, GA. Going into my senior season, I will be four-year starter for Mount Pisgah and a four-year captain. I feel I have the size (6' 5", 200), speed (4.72), arm strength, accuracy and intelligence (3.67 GPA) -- plus the intangibles (heart, work ethic and competitiveness) -- to play NCAA football. I have also achieved an 1100 SAT score.
Through my junior season, I have been a two-time All-Region selection, a two-time preseason All-State selection, and have amassed over 3700 career passing yards and 40 TD's in 21 games. I have also been the leading scorer for our basketball team since I was a freshman, averaging 18 points a game my junior year and receiving First-Team All-Region honors the last two years. I am currently working out with a personal trainer four days a week, and former UGA and Atlanta Falcon QB DJ Shockley has been tutoring me since early April. Although I am very proud of what I have accomplished, I feel the highlight film doesn’t completely reflect my current ability. I feel that my best year is ahead of me. DJ has really helped me with my footwork, getting me into my drops faster, and helping me to develop a quicker release. My strength has also improved dramatically due to the personal weight training. Their contact information, along with the contact information of my coaches, is contained in my recruiting profile under ‘References’. I would ask that you keep me on your radar for 2012. I am looking forward to having a big year!
I am looking for a school that has the right balance between the classroom and the field. I would like to go to a school where I can play for a great team without sacrificing academics. I believe I have the ability to play and succeed at any Division I school.
