James "MAX" Walton '14 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little my father has told me, "There will always be somebody bigger than you...stronger than you...faster than you, but no one can ever work as hard as you can." My whole life I aim to mirror this saying. I always strive to work harder, longer, and smarter than my peers. I have also grown up with a love of football. Going into my 11th year of organized play, I still have a passionate love of the game. I love how the game challenges me mentally and physically. Furthermore, it is overcomming these challenges that I enjoy so much. 

I love the amount of work that the game demands. I have lettered in every season of football in my high school career. I started some games defensively my sophomore year, and started every game my junior season both offensively and defensively. Other than football, over the past three years I have played soccer, run track, and also wrestled. 

When I am not training I like to volunteer with UNICEF (Youth Leadership Board), focus on my academics, and hangout with friends. 

I wish to continue my athletic career at a top academic school.
