My family is from Texas. Everyone. My parents went to Texas A&M University. Since I was born I had a football in my hand. In Texas football is a religion. I love the game. It’s what I want to do. While we lived in Kansas I started playing competitive football and then when we came to Georgia in the 5th grade I joined a great team that helped my love for the game grow. Since then I've played very competitive football and loved the game more and more. It has really helped me grow as a person and player. Another thing that's help me grow as a player is the high school I play at today. Over the last two years our team has struggled. I have never lost so many games until this point in my life. We have only won one game in my first two years in the program. It can be hard to stay motivated but I used this struggle to help me focus on my personal goals as well as becoming a leader on the team, even as an underclass playing varsity.
Throughout my life I have moved many times to different states with my fathers job. It felt like I was always on the move when I was younger. I believe because of that It helped me grow as a person, working on social skills and being able to make new friends, which I believe has made me a strong leader. I am looking for a college program that will be a good fit for me and my athletic talents as well as my academic pursuits. I want to become part of a team that feels like family and that will support all of my goals. I am a three sport varsity athlete but my true love is football and I can’t wait to be a part of a great team and continue my development in a college setting.
