Hello Coaches. My name is Joshua Butler. I am in the class of 2022 and I attend Franklin County High School.
My goal for myself has always been to be the greatest I can be. I always strive for my best because I have came to realize that being at the bottom of the barrel, isn't the best option for anyone. Especially for myself. My mother tried her best to instill that type of wisdom in my brain 24/7. Now that she has left this Earth and gone on to a better life, I want to make her happy and her dreams that she envisioned in me come true.
My collegiate goals are to graduate and get my Bachelor's Degree before my four years of college are up. I also want to graduate a honor student in college. I also consider graduating early. I would consider double-majoring. I believe without an education, nothing should be given to you. So with my education, it helps me better myself and more deserving as a privilege to play football.
For me with my athleticism and getting older, I have become more coach-able and take into consideration everything a coach tells me. I have also learned to say "Yes Sir" , "No Sir". For any athlete, coaches will love this because they will realize they have players that are on their "P's and Q's". I would say that owning up to my mistakes I make on the field would differ me in character. I don't always agree with what my coaches tell me, but I have to on to the next play and forget about the last. In athletics, I take my workouts along with conditioning serious. The classroom is my main priority.
