Be coachable, be a good teammate, and give your best effort - those are the words my dad told me before every practice and game starting about 3rd grade. Those are the same words he said to me before my last high school football game this past season. Those three rules became my mantra. I approached all athletic endeavors with those 3 simple rules in mind, and they have shaped me into the student and athlete I am today.
I started playing football when I was 5 years old; flag football to be exact. Even as a kindergartener, I knew I had found something special. I have been in love with the sport ever since. Nothing gets me as excited as the thought of playing football. I love to play the game, watch the game, and study the game. I am a good student, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, and a good manager of my time. I have been a three-sport athlete, involved in clubs, and worked part-time in high school.
I am coachable. I support my teammates. I will not be outworked.
