AJ Pearson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0, 193 lb strong safety/outside linebacker from Johns Creek, Ga. I also run a 4.63 40 yd dash and a 4.2 20 yard shuttle. I have started on the varsity football team at Northview high school for two years and I'm about to begin my third year. I earned All Region Honorable Mention(5A) my junior year. I earned All Region 1st Team(5A) and All North Fulton County 1st Team my senior year and I have a 3.6 GPA. I have volunteered in Medical Centers, Food Clinics, and have donated to various charities. I am looking for a school that will challenge me both in the classroom and on the field. I value my education a lot and would like to go to a school that has the same values and expectations that I do. I would like to pursue a college with great Sports Medicine and Pre-Med programs and a sound overall academic tradition. I want to feel comfortable enough with the teachers and professors to ask them questions before, during, and after class. Although I live in Georgia, I am completely open to colleges from coast to coast because I want to explore new cities and environments. Yet, I would still be very satisfied staying close to home and my family. Ideally, I would like to be in a competitive athletic environment and to have a chance to make an early impact on the team. I am a very hard working and self motivated. I pursue my goals on and off the field passionately. I keep working until the job is done and I never give up on a task. I give my all on the field and more. I lead my team in the weight room, in the lockeroom, and especially on the field. I have a diligent spirit and look to make the best of myself with the oppertunites given to me.
