My dream ever since I picked up a football for the first time was to play collage football. I shared this dream with tens of thousands of other kids across the country, but the difference is I did something about it. I started playing tackle football in third grade, as early as possible where I live. Every year at the conclusion of the season I ask my coach what I did well over the course of the season and what I can improve on for next season. Every season since third grade the one response I get every year is "you are one of the most COACHABLE players I've ever worked with." Other common responses are "you are a great leader and motivate others around you, you are academically and football smart, and you are just a really good kid and a pleasure to coach. No one except for me knows how bad I want this, and I will work harder than anyone else to prove it.
