Personal Statement
My name is Josh Holsey, I am 5'11, 180lbs. I attend Creekside High School in Fairburn Georgia. I have participatied in football, basketball and track while attending. Before high school, I played organized recreational football ( won 2 championships), I played AAU basketball from age 11 through 14 ( I was ranked in the top 100 for the class of 2012).
I have earned 1st team All-region honors 2 years in a row, nd this year I was selected to the All-State team. I also had the honor of being selected to the first At&T Georia junior bowl team.
I currently serve as defensive captain on the football team because I believe I provide leadership through my actions on and off the field. I am a hard worker and am always looking to get better.
I volunteer to read books to elementary school kids and feed the hungry throughout the year and understand the importance of community service and giving back.
It is my dream to play sports in college and am open to attending college anywhere. I have not yet decided on a college major, but I am working on narrowing it down.
