As a student, I am dedicated to achieving my academic goals in preparation for college, and as a football player, I am determined, passionate, and humble.
In college, I am interested in majoring in engineering. I’ve always been intrigued by numbers and problem solving. As I’ve explored more advanced courses in math and science, my curiosity has grown, and I am considering a career where I can use those skills. I’m hoping to use math and science in my future endeavors in a way that can benefit society by contributing to technological innovations or medical advancements. To move on to the collegiate level, I’ve set a personal goal to maintain a GPA above a 3.5. I’ve been able to consistently achieve this goal by engaging in diligent study habits which have been beneficial to good test results and positive engagement with teachers.
As a player on the team, I am always ready for whatever comes my way; physically and mentally. My study habits for the classroom translate to the field and locker room - I am ready to learn. During the most recent season, I honed in on my man-to-man and ball skills, which tremendously helped out the team by preventing touchdowns in tight situations.
What sets me apart from others is my work ethic. I know if I put in hard work now, I will achieve the results I intend. Football is a game of inches, and as a dedicated and passionate student and athlete, I apply that same concept to the classroom and field. I am ready to take on the challenges that are waiting on me.
