Ever since I started Kicking in the 8th grade, I've aspired to kick at a college one day. Almost everything I do in my life points towards that goal. From what I eat, to what I do in the class room, it all points to becoming a collegiate athlete. This football season was a major improvement from last year's. My team finished the season last year at 4-7, but this year we finished at 7-5 and made it to the final four in the state playoff. I got to attempt double the amount of PATs this year than I did last year.
I have 3 years of kicking under my belt as I was the starting kicker for my middle school football team in 8th grade and I've been the starting kicker for the past two years for my varsity football team.
I'm young but I'm working harder every day to reach my goals as a kicker. During the offseason, I kick 3 times a week minimum, stretch every night to improve flexibility, and I'm in the weight room at least 5 nights a week. On the field, I am locked in. Off the field, I display good character and work ethic. I believe that with enough work, I have what it takes to be a competing college athlete both academically, mentally and physically.
