I have had many influences in my life, but one of the biggest influences into making me who I am was God. Because of Him, I always try and live my life morally, and to the highest standard I can. Because of Him, I know what my purpose in life is, and how I should live. I also know that I can not take shortcuts in life because that would not let me reach my aspirations. This principle applies to school, because I believe that taking shortcuts here will hurt my future success. I believe it is important to push myself in academics. My goals for high school and college are to always be in the top of my class and to never receive a below average grade.
Although I didn't start playing football until I was eight, I became interested in football when I hardly knew what the sport was. I have never stopped playing since then. I have learned many things from football over the years, such as hard-work, discipline, how to be a leader, and what it is like having my team as a second-family.
