I’ve wanted to be an athlete since I could walk. My uncle was a professional baseball player and all my cousins played football and basketball. If I wasn’t playing, I was with them on the bench or in the locker room like I was apart of the team. The thing I love about sports is being a part of a family and the Friday night lights. I understand though that it’s the work you do OUTSIDE of practice that makes you the player you truly are. The things no other kid wants to do but you do them. The early morning training sessions, lifting weights or playing whether it’s hot or cold. To be the best at your craft, you must work for it. Mentally, physically, emotionally. I do what I can on and off the field and leave the rest up to GOD!!
