Kamalu DeBlake '21 Recruiting Profile

     Playing against the #1 team in the nation junior year was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel like I grew the most during the playoffs that same season when our team lost in the playoffs. The experience helped me gain wisdom and knowledge of what it’s like when the game is on the line during a very important game. Junior season also showed me what I need to do to become a better player and leader for the collegiate level.

     I was fortunate enough to be a part of an amazing team that made it to the state tournament. I learned trust, responsibility, leadership and how to be a better teammate. I am looking for a program that will fit me athletically and academically for the next chapter of my life. I believe I have the leadership, character, work ethic and love for the sport to make an immediate impact to a collegiate program. As an athlete and student of the game I know that I have what it takes to make an impact for your team.
