Charlie Peterson '25 Recruiting Profile

Two words set me apart, commitment and community.  Once I set my mind to something nothing can stop me.  My drive is putting in the time to be the best, whether on the field or in the classroom.  My favorite term is being an “Academic Weapon”.  I strive to be better each day, mentally and physically. In the classroom and around campus, I have immense respect for my teachers and staff. 

For college, I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically.  My main interests in study are sports science and business/construction management. Community is very important to me.  I grew up on Maui, an Island where everyone knows everyone.  I feel very fortunate that I have played with the same players and coaches since Pop Warner. I see and live the challenges it creates when players move off the Island for better opportunities.  But through adversity, the bonds that are created are unbreakable.  Football is a team sport; I respect my coaches and lead and encourage my teammates.  I know nothing is easy, but I am dedicated to putting in the time and effort it takes to be the best.

I look forward to the next chapter and have confidence the school I choose will help guide me to be an exceptional man.
