I come from a large family of football players who are all so passionate for the game. Sadly, no one in my family got to go on to the next level and compete at college and let alone go to college. This has driven me into making sure I am the first in my family to make it. I fell in love with football when I was 9 playing Pop Warner ball for my hometown. For the five years I played Pop Warner we won the State Championship five times. All of my coaches leading up to high school looked at me as a leader for our team and I was proud to bare that burden. Boys from Hawaii truly do play football different, we play with a huge chip on our shoulder and full of pride. I am no exception to this. My High School now (James B. Castle High School) has been struggling for the past decade, usually winning only three to four games a season. This year my coaches and I are planning to change this program into a championship team. Me playing college football is a dream me and my father shared since my first year I played. He stresses grades before anything, which I agree with. I am not allowed to have anything under a 3.0 GPA and I love that he pushes me on the field and in the classroom. I recently was able to attend a few mainland camps Utah all Poly I received All star prospect award and in Redlands Linebacker award It felt amazing working hard and experiencing the game with players from all around the country.
