Aloha,
God has blessed me with the surroundings of the beautiful ocean, sand, surf, and most importantly family. As much as I am appreciative of that I long to travel the world as pilot. As my college years approach I have a strong desire to be able to continue my athletic career while preparing for my role as a pilot. There are three sports I love to play:
Football- I was recruited for football through my track and field team. At the end of the track and field season the football coaches were asking me to consider playing for their team. I've always wanted to play football. There was one problem, my MOM. After some coaxing and many contacts witht the coaches, she finally let me play. This is as a sophomore was the first time I stepped on the field and I am in love. I enjoyed every second of this season. I started off at the varsity level, but after the coaches heard from my mom and looked at some other important factors we agreed that getting to know the game at the JV level was best for me. I got a lot of playing time and ran my heart out. I can't wait for next season.
Basketball- This sport was my first love, at the ripe old age of 5 I started to play. Basketball has been my first love and the one constant sportl I've played. I am continuously chosen as a lead. I have been moved around to many different positions because of my ability to play anywhere and my desire to be on the court. They have promised be as a junior they will choose one spot for me and give me exclusive training in that area. I will update this as that plays out.
Track and Field- ( I can't help, but to smile as I type this sport's name!) I started track and field in elementary school and haven't stopped. Every year I get faster and faster. I do five events at each meet, and place in almost all if not every event every week. Just like a pilot, I love to go fast! As a sophomore I have seniors who run next to me and push me to be faster and better each time. If I had to choose which sport I was the most talented it, this would be it.
Here is Hawaii we are taught to be Ha'aha'a, or be humble. It is difficult for us to talk about ourselves. I hope that this a trait that is encouraged and appreciated. Instead of talking about myself here is what my vice principal/track coach has to say about me:

Tre is a natural when it comes to track. I've had the pleasure of coaching him in sprints and has seen him develop well over the season to date. He is the team's top sprinter and hurdler.
Personality
Tre is a very nice and respectful young man. He is a very hard worker and pleasure to be around. He has a great attitude toward school and athletics and is a good role model for his classmates and teammates.
I am looking for a college that can prepare me for my career goal as a pilot, has a med-large school with a strong student culture.
