James P Dupree '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give you some of my background. I started wrestling at the age of eight and playing football at nine years old. I've been playing the quarterback position since the age of 11 years old. I started off playing PAL football in San Jose California. I then went to high school at Silver Creek High School in the same city. I started out on the freshman team, where we went undefeated in our division. The JV team was not having much success, so I was moved up to Junior Varsity where I shared snaps with the sophomore QB's. My sophomore year I was on JV but we had to move due to my father's work relocation. I started through the preseason before it was time to move on. The next chapter of my schooling and football career brought me to Waimea High School, Kauai-Hawaii. Here I entered football in my junior year and played on the Varsity squad. I chose to go to Waimea because from what I could see, they were a hard working team that was only missing some talent at key positions. I thought I could help. It's been a slow process, but things are coming around and I believe we can have a successful season coming up. This next season will be my senior year. In the summer or 2009 I attended the Just Win Camp in Mauai-Hawaii. In the summer of 2010 I attended the University of Hawaii Skills camp, and All Poly Camp, both in Oahu-Hawaii. My goal is to further my education after High School and continue to play the sport I love. I am a hard worker, and believe in practicing 100% at all times. It's been my experience as a football player and wrestler that you are only as good as you practice. How you practice is how you will play. I like to lead by example and like to help motivate team mates if it's allowed by my coaches. Given the opportunity, I would like to attend your school and add value to your football team in whatever capacity you see fit. All I ask for is an opportunity and a fair shot.
