Dear Perspective Coaches,
My name is Leighton Blythe. I’ve loved the game of football since I began playing at 8 years old. As a junior, I started at tight end for Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho. I also played Middle Linebacker and was the place holder last year for my varsity team. I strive to be the best version of myself on and off the field, continually work in the weight room to increase my strength, speed, endurance and mentality. I also strive to be the best teammate and coachable player I can be, whether it’s blocking and sealing the corner for my running back or being the most reliable tight end receiver. I continually work with my coaches to increase my skills at the Tight End position to better myself for the team.
In the classroom I am a hardworking student. I like to challenge myself with advance courses to help prepare myself for the future. Currently, I’m carrying a 3.7 GPA. Which have included classes such as Honors Chemistry, AP Physics, AP U.S. History, and AP English Language.
I enjoy a few hobbies for my own time and interests. The outdoors is one of them. I also enjoy doing woodwork with my dad. I am also very involved with my church.
I look forward to finding a college and coaching staff that will continue to help me become the best version of myself, and I hope to hear from you soon.
