Luke Legarreta '23 Recruiting Profile

I am Luke Legarreta, a 2023 strong safety/outside linebacker from Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho. I would be greatly honored to play at the collegiate level and am confident my skills will benefit the team that I ultimately play for. I have always loved the game of football, and I've been playing since I was 7.  At Bishop Kelly HS we live by a saying FAMILY: Forget About Me I Love You. This mantra fits perfectly for me because I love the team aspect of the game and have always lived by that code. My coaches noticed my love of the game, hard work ethic and skills, which led me to be the only sophomore on varsity and one of only a handful in the entire history of Bishop Kelly football. I started every game on varsity defense and was the leading tackler on the team. I am highly motivated to be the greatest player I can be on any team. I also want to be seen as a leader and mentor for the players around me. I love to be around friends and family. My family is very important to me, they are an incredible help with my football career and, more importantly, with the decisions of life.
