donovan varelman '19 Recruiting Profile

PERSONAL STATEMENT

My name is Donovan Varelman; I am in my senior at Bonners Ferry High School here I  a member of National Honor Society.  The positions I play are Linebacker with an emphasis on running back. My height is 5’7” weight is 190 lbs.  I have included film, and will post my senior film this year.  Playing my sophomore year one quarter for junior varsity and three quarters varsity, I rushed for over 600 yards on junior varsity one quarter a game. I rushed on varsity over 537 yards my junior year being the number 2 guy, which rushed more yards than the number 1 guy.  I was the only one on our team that got second team all-league.  My goal this year is to have over 1000 yards.

My strong work ethic, positive attitude and strive for excellence will enable me to achieve my goal of a Marine Biology Ph.D..  I embrace adversity, take up new challenges, and never let anything stop me from my goals and dreams.  I have been a leader on the football field and off where I was awarded Life Rank in the Boy Scouts of America which entailed participation in various service projects.
