My name is Rodney Gee II and I will be graduating in May 2016. As a versatile player, I play Varsity for both sides of the ball at Waubonsie Valley H.S. in Aurora Illinois. I am able to spread out the offense by playing WR (slot)and RB, and on defense I have a natural nose for the ball as DB/Safety. I am a starter on Varsity and also have an active role on the Midwest Boom 7on7 traveling team.
I stated playing football at 5 years old in Grand Prairie Texas. I ran my first touchdown at 46lbs and I knew that day that my heart and desire to play this game would drive me to success. Having played football for so long has helped me develop a very good football IQ. My strengths on the field are vision, agility, speed, and the passion to win. I also have the ability to make people miss in the open field and I am not afraid to fight for extra yards. In addition to playing football, during the off season I am on the Waubonsie ValleyVarsity track team and play for "Midwest Boom" 7on7 (ranked 8th in the country) as well as Waubonsie's 7on7 team. I also maintain year round training in speed, agility and weight training.
As a student athlete my drive and my dream are to play football in college, hopefully at a Division I school. I believe my skills will allow me to play at that level. I would love the opportunity to be able to contribute hopefully as a freshman to a team. I am able to offer your team speed, quickness, agility, football knowledge, and the desire to win. I will also continue to strive for my dream by determination, intensity, hustle, strong academics, sacrifice and hard work.
