Personal Statement
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a 6'3”195 lb quarterback playing for Bartlett High School in Illinois. After graduating in 2019, I plan to attend a four year college, majoring in business, although I have not yet defined a specific type of business.
Being a part of a team, there are several things that are important to me that I strive to achieve every single day. They include:
-
Leadership - As the leader of the team, I provide the quiet calm that wins games. I do not get rattled, but rather, work to keep the team focused on getting the job done.
-
Work Ethic - I know it is sort of cliche to say you are the hardest working person on the team, so I won't say that. I believe hard work is the core of being a great player . I believe my work ethic will be easily seen when you watch my throwing mechanics and footwork. -
Dedication - On and off the field, athletics and academics. Both are highly important to me and I give 110% everyday in both activities. A typical day of mine revolves virtually around football 365 days of the year.
If I had to pick one quote that sums up my belief about how I approach the game of football, it would be, "I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious." Vince Lombardi.
