Personal Statement
I've been playing football since I was 7. My uncle introduced me to the sport by taking me to practice. At first, I didn't like it because I kept getting hit by the experienced and older kids. I wanted to quit; my uncle didn't let me because he always preached "If you started something you've got to finish it". So that's what I did, As the season went by, I started learning the game and it became fun, so I stuck to it. While playing football I learned how to stay dedicated and on top of my priorities. Which made me get A's and B's in school because my parents wouldn't let me go to practice if I had anything below a B sometimes C. Football to me means sacrifice because I've put football over a lot of things in my life and I feel like it was worth it. On the Field I'm very versatile I could play every position on the O-Line and D-Line . I also have fast reflexes; I can see the play breakdown before the ball even snap so if something goes wrong, I'll know how to adjust and fix it. At the end of the day, I just want an education and to play the sport I've grown to love.
