Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions.
~Harold S. Geneen
This is a famous quote that I can relate to. This is basically saying that being a leader means you show leadership through your actions, not only through your words. I come from a small school in Chicago, Illinois, where everyone shows a bit of leadership. This is one of the reasons why we have a great athletic department. My dream as a child was to always play football in college and I pray to God every day that he will bless me and get me there. Not only does he have an effect on my abilities but i have an affect on them as well. Hard work pays off and I know that from experience. Hopefully my hardwork will pay off on the collegiate level. I'm a junior in high school that is 5'9 175 pounds. I'm looking for a college that uses more of my offensive speed as well as strength. I'm a smaller, quicker type of back that can outrun pretty much anybody on the defensive side of the ball. I currently run a 4.45 forty but I'm working now to improve that time. In the offseason I lift weights daily with the team, and I also run track. I have a 4.0 grade point average, so colleges won't have to struggle to get me into their institution/program. I want to major in Accounting. No matter where I go, I will definitely give it 110% because when its all said and done, getting my degree is most important.
