Football has been my passion my whole life. Started playing since I was 6 years old & currently playing in high school & i have improved a lot over the years from being a player on the bench to a starter & a person who my teammates look up to. I'm the offensive captain of my team & i push & lead my team to improve & to work hard on & off the field. Playing football is the greatest thing to ever happen. Being on a team is like having a second family. They are always there for you no matter what & if you have any problems the coaches are always there for us. Over the years I've been told that I'm too short, that I can't play football, & that I'm not going to make it to play in college. I want to prove all those people who told me I can't play in college & that I'm not good enough to play that I can play & be the greatest play I can be. But first it starts off in academics which is the most important part of being a student-athlete. I want to have a good education & go to a great college where I can major in either physical training, engineering or architecture and play football. I want to make my family proud & be the first in my family to be successful in college & in athletics & make my dreams come true. During my years of football i have overcome many obstacles and have accomplished many things during the years i've been playing. When I was playing my freshman year on varsity, my right ankle was fractured and I was out for the entire season. I was broken by this and i was feeling down. Then once my ankle was healed I started to work and get it better for the next season. Still to this day I still continue to work hard and keep on trying to improve and to get better. With all this hard work I've broken many school records for running back, was the offensive MVP and was award 1st Team All- Conference for 2 years in a row now. I'm proud to have accomplished all of this and I am still hungry for more and will keep on working hard to get far in football.
