Brendyn Shields '24 Recruiting Profile

A dream without a plan is nothing but good sleep. My name is Brendyn Shields and I’m a dreamer, a do’er, and a leader: I have dreams of making it to the NFL and I’ve made a plan to take my education serious enough to get me there. I’m also the captain of my high school football team. I’ve been playing football for thirteen years.

What makes me different from the other recruits is my dedication to growth. I truly don't know how to give up. I push myself to my limits and then push even further when I feel supported. I take pride in empowering my teammates while making sure everybody knows what they are doing on the field. I’m the type of person that learns from mistakes because I know knockdowns are only knockouts if you lay there.
