Jacob Deminie '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Deminie, I live in the Chicagoland Area.  I have extreme passion for the sport of football.  I have become the person I am today with the support of my amazing blended family.  My stepfather, David, helped me engage during youth football beginning with flag.  My biological father travels into town from California to support my passion and kudos to my mother to making every practice and games during long seasons and cheering me on along with my family members. 

My love for the game and experience has taught me fundamentals to help me become a better person, player, and appreciate the opportunities I've had.  I've had several starting positions during my freshman year on both offense and defense.   The coaching staff have provided me opportunities to play the following positions;  right guard, outside linebacker,  middle linebacker, tight end,  kick return, and punt blocker.  I have worked hard to become a better player and continue to make progress every time I am out on the field.

My academic aspiration is to continue studying mathematics, science, and engineering.  I am also contemplating  being part of the medical industry.  These are different fields of study and competencies, but they all intrigue my interest.  

I have a hard work ethic as I work as a B caddy with an exclusive Medinah Golf Country Club for 3 seasons,  During my time off of sports and work I enjoy working out, spending time with family, friends, and staying active within our community through volunteering.
