As I begin my search for a college home, my collegiate goal is to be able to perform on or better than that of my peers. Doing this will allow me to stand out and hopefully be able to play all four years as well as better perfect my craft to move on to play on the national stage. I have been playing football since I was 8 years old. Preparing myself early, has really taught me about hardwork and dedication both on and off the field. Since my high school career, as a incoming freshman, I have been a starter playing on the sophomore football team. I played the postion of running back and on special teams. My sophomore year, I also started in the position of running back but was given the starting task of playing wide out, slot reciever and a little bit of cornerback. All of these positions were played on the varsity level. I was one of 3 sophomores chosen to do so. What I think makes me different from other recruits is that I am a very coachable kid. I say this because I take critisim whether constructive or not and I work hard to perfect this by working after the practice or event is complete. I also am able to get along well with others. There is not a stranger that I don't meet. I am friendly and help others if I see that they are having a hard time. By being a versitale player, I feel that this makes me a great prospect. Not too may players that I know can play different postions or even want to play them. Also, I am a 3 sport athlete. Other than football, I am on the wrestling team and I run track. I feel that the weight room is a big part of my game. My max bench is 275, max squat is 405, max dead lift is 455 and max hang clean 225. During the off season, I do alot of hill running and ball drills. I love to work on my feet because as you know, you can never be too fast to play. My personal goal for this year is to increase my rushing yards so that I can help my team make it to the play offs. Aademically, my GPA is a 2.7. This is low and I have gotten support in order to increase this in the next 2 years while in high school. The supports that I have been recieving is tutoring for various subject areas as well as getting more support at home from my parents. With these things lined up, I feel that I have a great future to do something that I love.
