My name is Mnetisi Mndzebele and I’m currently a Junior at York Community High school in Illinois with a 3.7gpa.I’m a 5’9,155 lbs and play corner. This is my first year playing this position since in the past years I played wide receiver and have been involved in special teams.I decided to play corner this year after Hayden Renier(A senior at York who just committed to Indiana Wesleyan University) started working with me during my sophomore off season and also during the summer. We developed a strong friendship through working out together and going to the field consistently.
Our season was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic so I have limited highlights from the season but I’m going to have a highlight video as soon as the season ends.I really love the game of football and I’m determined to play on the next level. My commitment to the team and good grades landed me this varsity spot.Later in the summer of 2020,I attended a skills camp where I improved not only as a player but as a person too. I am very disciplined, always on time and respect myself , team players and the coaches.
Year 2020 came with a lot of challenges but I never made an excuse for myself to stop pushing myself and others to get better.
