Drake Selock '15 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a senior at Bishop McNamara Catholic High in Kankakee Illinois and we play in the Chicago Catholic League. I have started on the varsity team as right tackle since my sophomore year. I play mainly tackle on the offense but I have since learned all of our offensive lineman positions. The same as well for defense, as I play mainly nose-guard, I have been taught defense end.

As a sophomore I received an honorable mention on both All-Conference and All-Area teams. During my Junior year I was able to receive a spot on the Kankakee All-Area 1st team. 

 I was recently named to the Chicago Catholic League's All Conference Team. As for my off-season, I  am able to get in the weight room 5-6 days a week and running twice a week, as well as jump rope and do agility drills mixed in with my workouts. During the winter I play Indoor soccer, during the spring as of this year we will be starting a Rugby team which I will be participating in. During my off time or to get an extra workout in, I work out with my gym's boxing instructor to help with my speed and agility. 

A high quality education is my goal for college, at a University that fits my academic and athletic needs. I know that with the right fit and my hard work I can accomplish anything I put my mind too.
