My parents both attended college and received advanced degrees, so education is mandatory. My plan is also to attend a good college to further my learning and development of life and professional skills. I was late to football, only starting a couple of years ago, and have had to work hard to learn the game and my positions at a high level. I am fortunate to attend Adlai Stevenson High School, where I am starting nose tackle of a top ranked football program with a tradition of high competition and winning. My parents, coaches, and teammates have taught me about hard work, being a team player, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. My parents have also taught me to be accountable.
I am a team player and a leader. I work hard, with a goal of getting better and winning. My high school is also ranked as one of the best academic public schools in the United States. It is a challenge and I have worked hard to maintain a 3.0 grade point average. As I look at college programs, I'm looking for one that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically, with a lot of room for me to grow. I would welcome the opportunity to speak and meet with you to see if we both are fit for your program.
