Daniel Martinez '29 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches

My name is Daniel Martinez. I currently live in Des Plaines IL, and plan to play at Prospect High next season. I have played on two teams and have multiple years of experience football wise. I played flag football for 3 years, until I joined the Mount Prospect Lions Youth team, where I was promoted to 8th Grade Varsity as a 7th grader. After that season, I decided to switch to the Arlington Heights Cowboys, a team with much higher resources, and as a team, finished 3rd in the BGYFL standings.

My goal as an athlete at your college is to succeed academically, and on the field. I have achieved High Honors in each of my years at Lincoln Middle School(Mount Prospect), and was able to win student of the month twice. 

Sports wise,  I don't only play football, I also play Volleyball and Basketball for my Middle School. My 7th and 8th grade years on the Basketball team both resulted in Conference Championships, which also earned us a spot in the Joey Sykes Gold Bracket, where we completed against high end Catholic and large private schools. Currently our Volleyball team is 4-1, and a favorite to win another Conference Championship, in fact the first ever for Boys Volleyball. 

I am a good candidate for your team because I boost all of my teammates on the field, and never let injuries hold me back from trying my best. I am also a large competitor, and have a great work ethic.
