This is an exciting time for me as I look to future to further my education and take my special love for football to the next level. I am looking for the right combination of academics and football programs that will help me achieve my career goals.
Right now, I am looking to pursue a degree in the Exercise Science field (teaching, coaching or training). As part of this path I also want to find the right football program that will allow me to push my competitive spirit and skills to the highest level.
Football appears to be a family trait as both my older brothers have played in college, one winning a National Championship and the other getting to compete with the Kansas City Chiefs. They have inspired me.
I have played football since I was 5 years old. When I was in the 5th & 6th grade I started playing with the local traveling football team. I played on offensive, defense & special teams. I then played for the Brownsburg West Middle School on the 7th & 8th grade teams. I also extended my football seasons during my 6th, 7th and 8th grade years by playing for the State of Indiana FBU Football teams. I now play for the Brownsburg High School football team. My freshman year finished October 2016. I was a starter and played offense, defense & special teams on the Freshman team. I was one of the team Captains and I was awarded the Defensive Player MVP award for the 2016 season. This pasted year as a sophmore I would split game time with JV and Varsity. This year I specialized my position as a LB, but also played on all special teams. We won conference this year and I ended the 2017 year by winning Defensive Player MVP on JV.
I learned my great work ethic and tenacity to be the best from all the special coaches that have worked with me. These traits I apply to my academics, football and my life daily.
I believe that when I find the right university and they find me, great things are going to happen.
