My ultimate goal as a student-athlete is to play football at the collegiate level. Since entering high school, I have been motivated to be the best I can be in the classroom and on the field by working hard to get good grades, giving 110% on the field, and being a leader for my teammates. I know working off the field is just as important as on the field so during off-season I have worked hard through agility training, weight training, and running for endurance.
I knew when I first started playing football 4 years ago that I wanted to play at the next level. I have played multiple positions since I started playing football because I feel my coach can rely on me to step in and do what is needed for the team. My passion is playing linebacker as I feel I can see the field well and cover zones when needed. As a Freshman I knew I would need to work hard and prove to my coaches I deserved to be on the field. I always gave 100% on the field during practices and earned playing time on Varsity on special teams during my Freshman year. I also started JV as Linebacker on defense and Running back on offense. I attribute this to always working hard and being respectful to my coaches and being a good teammate.
