Thomas Lynch '24 Recruiting Profile

As the son of a football coach, I fell in love with the game at a very young age.  When my friends were outside riding bikes,  I was doing footwork in my backyard or learning how to identify and break down defensive schemes. My sophomore season, having won the starting running back position over a senior and a junior, it was evident that hard work really does pay off. During my youth league and middle school years playing football I was undersized and overlooked by many, but I never stopped working to improve. I quickly learned that a person is defined not by their physical size but by their will to succeed. I am driven with a commitment to achieve my goals. I strive to be a great teammate and help my team in any way I can to win. I am a dynamic ball carrier with great field vision and the ability to catch passes out of the backfield. Additionally, I understand the importance of pass blocking and take pride giving the quarterback the time to make a good throw to extend the drive. I am looking for a college that can provide a great education. It s my desire to earn a degree in education to become a high school teacher and football coach. I have seen firsthand how a teacher and a coach can influence young people to do great things. I want to be a positive influence on my future students and players.
