Zion Boungou '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a passionate person who puts his whole heart into my sport and my team. I never give up and remain open, humble and coachable at all times because it is the only way I will continue to grow and get better. I start in both offensive and defensive positions, primarily as WR and CB, and sometimes KR on special teams.

I have surprised every coach in my path with what I have accomplished with my natural strength, speed and abilities as I have only played football for two seasons in my entire life. 

This past year, I enhanced my skills, speed and agility by joining a 7x7 travel league in the spring. I also play chess in my spare time which I believe exercises the mind with analytical and strategic thinking skills. 

In addition, I am a well-rounded athlete who runs Track & Field in 100, 200 hurdles, 4:1 as well as High Jump and Pole Vault. In the 23 Season, I placed first in HJ at 5'8", nearly breaking a school record. 

At the end of this season, Carroll Middle School recognized me that I broke the school record for most career (7-8) tackles. 

In the future, it would be my dream to play for D1 and take that to the next level in the NFL as my career. My future aspirations for field of study is Sports Medicine.
