Personal Statement
My number one goal in college is to be the first family member to graduate from college and take my passion for football farther. To complete this goal, I'm going to work my hardest to succeed with a 3.2 GPA academically, and I know I have the skills to reach this goal. In college, I plan on gaining the right knowledge to guide me through my later life.
In football, I plan on playing on a team that trusts each other and plays as a unit. I feel that if I can bring hard effort and leadership to a team, we could go very far with winning game and even championship.
One thing that absolutely makes me different from other athletes is my attitude. I never had an attitude for being coached because coaching is just another way to boost me to execute. And execution is key in football. Two things my coach always informs me is that in football you have to be physically and mentally strong, and I take those concepts mostly serious.
I'm also a 100% team player. In my opinion, there's no such thing as a team without anyone that encourages the whole team to execute every play. If I am a leader of a team, I'm the type of teammate to show love and create a brotherhood between all of my teammates. There's always that one teammate that needs big brother assistance and I'm the player to take responsibility. I was once one of those kids, and that's my job to not let that happen to any of teammates.
