My name is Adam Bales and I am in the graduating class of 2023 at Monrovia High School in Monrovia, IN. I am 6’ 3”/ 280 lbs. and played center for the Monrovia Bulldogs; 2022 3A Sectional and 3A Reginal Champions. I also played center for the black team in the 2022 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
My first goal is to attend college and graduate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. My next goal is to be able to play football as a center or offensive guard at the collegiate level. I believe that I will be able to accomplish both of these goals at the University of Indianapolis. I was recruited by and have committed to play football for the University of Indianapolis. I am excited about the opportunity to play football at the Division II level as well as attend college close to home. I am looking forward to my freshman year at UIndy! Go Hounds!!
I appreciate all the help I have had in my recruiting process. I want to thank Coach Olsen and especially Coach Bolin for all the hard work he did on my behalf. I want to especially thank Coach Mike Barry for selecting me for the 2022 U.S. Army Bowl and for coaching me. I really appreciate his help in my recruiting process.
I want to thank my parents for going with me on all my college visits and for all the sacrifices that they have made for me. I am so grateful for all that they have done to help me to get to this point in my life.

- Starting center for the black team in the 2022 U.S Army Bowl. 2 days of practice and the game played on 12/17/22, televised on Bally's Sports Network. It was an honor to be selected, to play and to be coached by Offensive Line coach Mike Barry and Head coach Houston Nutt. It was also a great honor to represent the U.S. Army and to bring home the win!
