Nick Ortiz '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Ortiz. I am a rising sophomore, planning on graduating from Saint Joseph High School in South Bend, Indiana in 2026. I have played football since I was 4 on the flag football team.  My father introduced me to tackle football in 3rd grade, and ever since then, I have a passion to continue to play at each of the next levels.  I was able to play on our varsity team as a freshman in the sectionals last year as a starter and it was one of the most memorable moments in football I've had yet.  I believe some of my strengths are a strong work ethic, I have a high football IQ, I am a leader for my peers and my teammates on and off the field. I see myself as a very coachable player, and I am well respected throughout my team even at a young age. I hope to continue my playing career on the offensive line throughout college and maybe even beyond.
