Elijah Nagy '28 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was nine years old. Since I stepped on the field I have dreamed and aspired to play at the next le vel, collegiate level.  I know playing at the college level is an opportunity of a lifetime and will prove to be challenging. Since I started playing, I have been underestimated, I welcome the challenge as I strive to succeed and prove that I can succeed at each level.

I have played defence most of my playing time and I have developed strong field vision on anticipating the play, strong physical play, and mental toughness. I am a Leader on and off the field, I lead by example holding myself accountable and my teammates to be leaders of the community and on being a teammate. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and the hardest recruit you will find.  I have been named captain of my team a few times, I don’t let not being a captain an excuse to not hold myself or teammates accountable.

In the classroom I study hard and have maintained a high level of grades in both core and noncore classes. I want to attend college where I will be challenged both in the classroom and on the field.  I am open to all options, ultimately, I want to find the right fit. Playing at the next level and my schooling is my focus, I realize the cost college comes with and the ideal of not being able to attend due to funding is not an option for me, I train hard every off season so I may be as successful in football as I am in the classroom.
