My name is Jordan Bish and at 16 years old, I am a 6 1”, 215 lb defensive end / defensive tackle from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.. I have a 3.4 GPA and plan to write the SAT and ACT exams soon.
I have started on the Lorne Park High School junior varsity team for 2 years and will be a starter on the varsity team this fall. I have also played 9 seasons (spring provincial travel and fall house league) with the Oakville Titans, beginning as a PeeWee at age 11. On both teams, I have played a variety of positions including center, tight end, running back, quarterback and have settled onto the defensive team for the last 2 years. Having played several different positions on the offensive team allows me to better read my opponents and the field in general. I am a committed player who always arrives early for practices or for the team bus to go to games. On the field, I demonstrate good sportsmanship to both my teammates and the opposing team players, helping them up after plays, congratulating them on a good play and more. I have been a team captain for both the Oakville Titans and the Lorne Park Spartans. It is my dream to play football in college and make a positive impact on that team to win a championship.
My training happens both on and off the field. I have been working with a personal trainer for 2 years to build my strength and speed. Currently, I am benching 180lbs, squatting 250lbs, with a vertical jump of 24” and a 40 yard dash speed of 5.5s.
I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. Ideally, I would like to attend a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the health sciences. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate and positive impact on the team.
