I am Cooper Glavan. I grew up in southern Oklahoma until my eighth-grade year. At that time we relocated to northeastern Kansas for my dad's job. I'll be graduating from Clay Center Community High School in May 2020.
I have dreamed my entire life of playing football in college. At an early age, I had a great group of coaches and mentors that believed in me and my goals and taught me that anything I set my mind to was possible if I worked harder than anyone else. That is when I decided I would stop at nothing to play college football. My work ethic is second to none. I love the game of football. I love the physicality, I love the strategy, but most of all I love to work with a team to achieve a goal. I take pride in my ability to help my team members exceed what they thought was their potential.
While playing youth and high school sports it's been an honor to be able to experience playing quarterback teams with varying success. Getting experience on both ends of the spectrum has been invaluable to my development as a player. I have learned how I can help lead my teams by working hard and focusing on the end goal. I have had to battle for my positions and still be part of a team win or lose. I have had to overcome adversity, but I am humbled to have been picked for the All-League Defensive back, and All-League Punter.
I am looking for a school where I can get a great education and carry out my dream of playing college football. I especially look forward to the experience and the opportunity to continue to learn and develop.
Since fourth grade, I have played every sport my school has offered. I have also played many positions, and I wouldn't trade my experiences or coaches for anything in this world. Again, I look forward to visiting with you about the opportunity to play football for you and your team.
