Lucas Anschutz '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucas Anschutz I am a freshman who attends Barton Community college on Fort Riley, KS. I am currently not on a football team. I chose to attend here because scholarships caused the schooling to be free for me to receive my associates. I am looking to play college football it has always been a dream of mine and I will put the work in day in and day out. I continue to work out every day while weighting to get an opportunity to play somewhere the majority of my workouts are weight training and cardio-based but still continue to work on my agility and explosiveness. I am a 5'9" 225 Lb DE who is very versatile and played Middle Linebacker for his junior and senior season. I also played both sides of the ball for the entire game which means that I am used to playing the full game and can handle the extra needed pressure that comes with that responsibility, on the offensive side a played Tight end and O-Line. During my senior season, I had the honor of receiving Defensive MVP for my football team, I received the First team all-league honors. and I received Honorable Mention for the top 100 Senior high school football players in Kansas. I know that I may not look like it but I believe with the right coaching staff I can make a significant impact for a team. I want to become a Physical therapist who works with injured athletes and tries to help them recover to 100% so I would prefer to go to a school with a strong medical training program.
