Personal Statement
At my age, a 16 year old Junior, I understand this and wake up every morning knowing that I have to be better and work harder than the day before to achieve my goals.
There is no such thing as a free ride and I work hard to earn my spot in the line-up. My dedication and perseverance in all that I do both athletically and academically is to go 110%. I have a great, loving family and they support me in all of my goals and aspirations. As a Sophomore starting at Varsity RB, I was able to earn Honorable Mention All-Conference and set our High School single season rushing yards and touchdown record. This is an accolade that I will forever cherish, but, it also shows me what I need to do next year to break those same records. I am also being looked at as one of the leaders on team. I take that very seriously and work hard to set an example for others whether it be in the community, classroom, weight room or on the field.
I am looking for the opportunity to compete at the highest level where I can not only contribute as a performer and leader on the team, but also develop academically, athletically, and as a person. I'm working hard everyday to prepare for what's next, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for me as I will be ready.
